Principal’s Welcome

Welcome to Solideo Gracias School (SGS), a school where learning is seen as serious, efficient, and fun. Officially established in 2014, SGS Caringin Campus (SGS CC) is currently home to 122 students from Play Group (PG) and Kindergartens (K1 & K2) to Primary School 1 - 6. In the near future, SGS will open branches in Bogor, Parung Panjang, and other areas in Indonesia.

SGS is a national plus school with universal Christinity values and global vision. At SGS we implement holistic education programs aiming to impart and build four core values in our students: faith, knowledge, character, and wisdom.

Students at SGS are educated with the correct concepts in terms of faith (beliefs), both faith in God and in themselves. Early on, SGS students have been educated to be open-minded and believe in God's authority over themselves and that each of them has been blessed by God with huge potential and capacity to achieve success. Their job is to explore and maximize these potentials through hard work so they can turn them into energy in the form of academic and life skills.

To build students' academic competencies, SGS implements a balanced intenational standard curriculum with intensive use of English as the language of instruction for several subjects and during social and play time as well as other occations, such as chapel and assembly time. With high standards of teaching and learning, every SGS student is required to work hard, discipline, and use time effectively so that his/her academic potential can be built to the fullest. At SGS there should be no time wasted. However, the fun aspect of child's learning process continues to receive proportional attention. That is why, despite being demanded to work hard, each of our students is always enthusiastic about going to school.

The character and personality development program at SGS aims at shaping and fostering these 12 (twelve) main aspects: character, morality, discipline, responsibility, nationalism, global perspective, work ethos, creativity, emotional intelligence (emotional quotient), spiritual intelligence (spiritual quotient) ,adversity quotient, and creativity. .
